MDF MDF was introduced into the wooden packaging sector over 10 years ago, and since then it has evolved and now dominates the sector thanks to its unbeatable characteristics (no splinters, highly resistant, smooth surface, uniform weight, etc.) in the manufacturing of wooden packaging for fruit and vegetables. Its resistance means that wooden packaging made from MDF is particularly suitable for long-distance transportation. MDF also enables crated fruit and vegetables to be stored in refrigerated chambers without the crate losing its properties.
